Reflections, Interpretations and Musings...and the blues

I have this void in me
that needs, craves
forever.
The only one thing
I need to denounce..yet desire
ignore…and yet fill...

experiencing the intensity,
I let it bathe me with its touch
then shrug
and hey again I - am me -

Smug I have it all figured out
but the void gapes...an endless blue pit
and again pulls me in

  1. Strong writing - I love the last stanza best:
"Smug I have it all figured out
but the void gapes...an endless blue pit
and again pulls me in" - I think this has a lovely rhythm with the pause like a deep breath that pull you in.

  4. It happens. Don't worry, I believe it happens to even the highest of human being. Don't wash away all those things in one sweep, let the thing comes and goes, always discriminate, and above all be brave and remain compassionate.

  7. A powerful desire with great energy and keeping it at this pace you are nearly there away from being sucked into the nothingness of nonexistence.

    Well thought out poem!!

  8. The void is just a thought, nothingness is just a thought. One survives it, and moves on.

  9. Never fall into a pit you did not dig with your own hands. It belongs to someone else, let them fall into it.
