Gives me a bauble...

You want to be
my precious stone
one that i can - 'Lo and behold!'

Tell me my love
When I am too old
what will I do
with the pretty bauble
when I am all tired..cold?

What will I do
with a precious stone to hold?
when all I want is
a warm warm blanket
wrapped tightly around my soul..

I liked your post a lot -worli and madhubani folk art is my fave

    JBT,
Yeah the blanket would be so much warmer than the precious bauble if its accompanied by a cold heart

    Timoteo,
We do loose perspective at times though

    Lynne,
Yes you got it..without the warmth of the giver what value would it hold in one's heart

    Sumit,
yes, wrapped tightly around my soul

    Jingle,
We all are in the end looking for love and warmth in our own way. And look while lookin what I found..another A+ :)

  12. Very nice. A good reminder of what is truly valuable. And perhaps a call to us to help hand out some of those blankets.

    Thanks.
