Your face I hide - sweet - in my mind
your name - quivers through my soul
I said your name - almost - but thrice
and bitter took its toll..
I tread as much - I dare to say
I long for destiny
which comes and spreads
upon my being - sweet -
your identity..

and may that destiny find you when the time is right...
ReplyDeleteAs always, beutiful. I feel you put your heart and soul into your verse, that these are more than just words to you, which makes your posting them even more special.
ReplyDeleteI like your style, short and to the point

ReplyDeleteHi. Like this a lot I find myself reaching out and stopping at times too but then I usually am able to get over my fright of flight or fight and go.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of crushes and how it feels to be in love with someone who might not be aware of it. Nice write!
ReplyDeleteThe heart is so fragile sometimes, yet it's supposed to be the strongest muscle in the body. :\
ReplyDeleteLovely little piece - a genuine outpouring of affection. Does she return it? Does she know? Or is this merely the musing of a heart, watching from afar? Questions, questions, but one cannot doubt the genuine nature of the heart here.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder does the heart really "feel" for if it does, how does it thrive on an emotional void?
ReplyDeleteI love your writes:-)

ReplyDeletelovely singing lyrics ....very nice read...bkm
ReplyDeleteAnd when this happens, one can but surrender... don't you think?
